It’s A Grind is a specialty coffee house concept established in 1994 to provide high quality gourmet coffee, espresso beverages, better for you healthy cold drinks, a range of home baked foods in a comfortable, and a community-focused neighborhood environment.
Our coffee houses are independent, well connected and free spirited. The environment indulges its guests in nostalgic elements that encourages them to embrace the “good old” times of bygone eras.
Our product range is authentic and offers hand-crafted espresso based beverages, “better for you” health & well being smoothies and a range of loose leaf teas.
It’s A Grind differentiates itself with an innovative all day food range including paninis, partnered with “home-baked” coffee related cakes, pastries and more.
In June 2009, Praise International North America Inc., completed negotiations to buy It’s A Grind U.S. retail and franchise operations from the founders of It’s A Grind.
Today, It’s A Grind operates more than 35 locations in 7 states, including 25 in Southern California and the first international location in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Future international development is currently planned for Dubai (UAE), Doha (Qatar), and Brunei.
The stores have become popular neighborhood coffee houses featuring large, comfortable seating and an eclectic blend of recorded music. We are famous for our high-quality Arabica coffee beans, which we micro-roast. This process ensures fresh, smooth flavorful coffee. It’s A Grind offers specialty, traditional espresso, iced, blended coffee drinks, tea, tea-based drinks, bagels, muffins, scones and other bakery items.
